The Dealer Index project aims to create an easy to use platform for car dealerships and their customers to locate the correct address' for the transfer of cryptocurrency.

Why the dealer index?

There is a lot of money to be made in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Many people have their first look at more money they every thought they would have in a lifetime. What do people usually buy when when they acquire large sums of money? A new car of course, the staple of a reflection of ourselves.

Many car dealerships do not accept cryptocurrency as payment. It can be complicated and those who have access to a wallet may not always be around if an issue were to occur.

Imagine being a car dealership and having the customer send $40,000 to '0x1234...'. Your customer made a mistake and thought they were told '0x2234...' and sent the transaction. Who is at fault? You won't get the money back, a legal dispute could be here-say on both sides.

What will this feature? The dealer index requests to be granted an award amount to begin researching and working with dealerships to help develop a web accessible dApp / platform that will do the following:

• Verify the addrress of the corresponding dealer
• Index the thousands of car dealerships across the united states
• Ability for the dealership to mint and ENS name
• Retreive on chain transactions in an invoice format to show proof-of-payment
• Convert cryptocurrecy(Eth, BTC, USDC, etc...) into USD
• Deposit USD from paltform
• On-ramp USD aand convert to cryptocurrency.
• Provide information about the dealerrship, PoC, accept crypto, request crypto from othe dealersips
• Generate statistical reports and generate appropriate IRS forms for tax purposes
• Generate QR codes for anyone who is not using a ENS compatible wallet

ENS could really benefit from car-dealership adoption. Car dealers talk to a lot of people throughout the day and naturally market and promote the use of ENS by word of mouth and through their advertising campaigns.
