Our team at MASQ Network has built a user-focused web3 enabled browser, that provides borderless private browsing from anywhere in the world. This is achieved without the need for VPN or Tor, but leverages those technologies to offer the benefits to users without subscriptions or standard detection using these.

Designed carefully for all users, including those just starting their journey into the web3 and the blockchain (cryptocurrency) ecosphere, MASQ was built to run on a standard internet connection without the need for special hardware. This enables MASQ to serve as a strong bridge for Web2 users as they integrate into Web3 specific applications, and offers censorship-resistant browsing to users that are restricted in their region.

What it does

The MASQ software has been carefully curated to provide privacy-centric benefits with instant everyday utility using the in-built browser. MASQ users will install the software, set up through the onboarding process in just a few minutes will be able to enjoy core features such as:

  • borderless browsing and privacy online without tracking, from anywhere in the world
  • native handling of ENS domain profiles, content and IPFS websites
  • uncensored access to crypto platforms, web3 dApps, and the metaverse
  • in-built web3 dApps library curated by the team and community

Grants Assistance

Our project has humble beginnings and has operated without any ICO/IDO, no VC backers or private angel investors. We have self-funded for nearly 3 years, and rely on community contribution, donations and support to continue building the extensive capabilities of the software and scale it to the thousands of users around the world. We would be grateful to be selected for the Public Goods small grant, and this will go towards refining the ENS resolution component to make it even more decentralized when retrieving ENS and IPFS based websites for users.
