Public Goods Highlights: Women-led initiatives

This series seeks to highlight leaders in the space, who focus on protocol development, education and advocacy.

Opportunity

ENS DAO has a unique opportunity to establish itself as its own voice in the space. We are different because we represent a breadth of community in the space that do not necessarily identify or align themselves with solarpunks, regen, or ‘wholesome ethereans’.

We can go about funding public goods in an entirely new way, with a focus on education and advocacy and serving underrepresented communities in the web3 space.

Building Rapport

1. IDENTIFY

Women-led initiatives in the space that are focused on protocol development, education and advocacy.

2. ENGAGE

hellenstans.eth & estmcmxci.eth will curate projects and reach out to program community spaces on the DAO's Twitter account and other social forums.

3. PLATFORM

Feature different projects within context of education and advocacy.

4. PILOT

The pilot program ran through the week of September 12-16, with varied results. However, we feel that we have planted the seeds for building stronger rapport with community-led initiatives, specifically those with a focus on DEI, education and advocacy. Featured communities included Blu3 DAO, She256, and ENSqueens. We plan to run this series on a quarterly or monthly basis and highlight more communities including SheFi, WBW3 and others.
