GigaNames.io is a data-driven ENS research and bulk registration tool. It helps find (hopefully) meaningful ENS names that have not been minted yet and lets easily bulk-register them via a gas-optimized smart contract.

The tool is powered by tons of Internet data collected over the past years from other non-Web3-related operations, and now put to use for Web3. The data is processed using NLP (Natural Language Processing) techniques and probabilistic models to extract meaningful insights.

The UI and UX was built for flexibility and easy usage featuring preset collections, custom user collections and lists, key statistics, quick/bulk search, cart with up to 100 items, saving cart for later and more.

Beta Release

GigaNames.io Beta has just been released and already provides > 12,000,000 suggestions. Another batch of more than 7,000,000 suggestions is about to drop soon. Beta access is limited and requires an active Ethereum address connection (currently MetaMask only). Additionally, we already provide GigaNames Member Key NFTs that provide holders lifetime unlimited & discounted access to all current and future functionality.

Development Plans

There is a number of major features we are looking forward to implement in the nearest future:

• extract past and live ENS sales data from top marketplaces
• develop ENS appraisal engine backed by an RNN (recurrent neural network) ingesting the extracted temporal ENS sales data along with NLP tokenization
• word morphology-based filtering & sorting powered by estimated pricing (from the above RNN)
• language-aware models, tokenization and name insights
• integrating certain additional paid data sources and APIs

Benefits for ENS Community

We strongly believe our tool is a great resource for the ENS Community and will help it evolve even faster by providing it with easy ways to uncover more great names. And we are talking about NEW registrations - which essentially fuels the horizontal spread of ENS (not just the re-sales).

Another major aspect is onboarding new users into ENS - we hope to become a prominent destination where users come with a name idea and end up with a set of great names, in just a few clicks.

Based on our expertise in data science & IT, we aim to bring more quantitative and qualitative scientific approaches into the ENS space.

Our Needs

The primary "monetary" vector is infrastructure. Dealing with big-data at scale is costly, and we need to improve our current Beta infra for better performance and faster access. The grant is expected to cover the upgrade costs, along with additional development required for the upgrade.

So far, our primary expense was development time which hasn't been compensated yet. We've been "buidling" driven completely by enthusiasm and belief in the future of ENS. But any bit of compensation would certainly be an encouragement!

We are more than happy to continue committing more development time into the project, but we are now desperately seeking for feedback from the ENS Community to iterate and ship more & better features, and essentially grow (we also have a referral program).
